Fragrancing Methods


Naturex Air Fresheners
  • Consistent: the same amount fragrance is diffused continuously without fading.
  • Scents that last 30 days before needing a refill.
  • Safe: Unlike candles and incense, our diffuser can't set your home on fire.
  • May be wall-mounted out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Effective: fan-powered diffusion creates a light air circulation.
  • Quiet: low-power fan is virtually noiseless.
  • No supervision required: You can safely leave the unit on while on vacation.
  • You control the diffusion rate by raising or lowering the wick, or by turning the diffuser off.

Candles
  • They burn the oxygen we need to breathe. In today's air-tight homes, fresh oxygen supply is often overlooked.
  • They do not burn cleanly, producing soot in the air and mark on walls.
  • The smoke contains many chemicals (some which are known toxins) that could potentially harm people and animals that are exposed to them on a regular basis..
  • Not effective: limited to the time they are lit.
  • Require supervision: Would you leave burning candles unattended?
  • Difficult to control the rate of diffusion of the fragrance.
  • Not cost effective.
  • Not suitable for large areas.

Plug-in Air Freshener
  • Dry up quickly.
  • Inconsistent scent: strong at first, quickly fades.
  • Limited scent variety.
  • Difficult to control the rate of diffusion of the fragrance.
  • Not cost effective.
  • Not suitable for large areas.

Incense
  • Very strong scent in proximity of the incense.
  • They do not burn cleanly - producing soot in the air we breathe.
  • Not effective: limited to the time they are lit.
  • Difficult to control the rate of diffusion of the fragrance.
  • Require supervision: would you leave burning incense unattended?
  • Not cost effective.

Manual Spray Cans
  • Very strong scent in proximity of the spray.
  • Inconsistent scent: must be repeated for continuous scent.
  • Scent does not last.
  • Not cost effective.
  • Not suitable for large areas.

Metered (automatic) Spray Cans
  • Burst of spray creates highs and lows in fragrance.
  • The sound of the spray may startle in a quiet and relaxing environment.
  • Expensive start-up costs.
